And it still works

The place on top of my car where I left it and it flew off when I started driving and turned a curve (yes, that was incredibly stupid)

Running “Find My iPhone” to discover it fell off in downtown LA.  Somewhere between a parking structure and a freeway entrance.  And it’s still alive.

My phone after I drove back downtown, chased the ringtone up the parking ramp, and found it screen-down in the middle of the slope, run over, dirty, but still intact.  Somehow.

The plastic screen cover took quite a beating and came off.  But no one picked it up, no one heard it, and it somehow withstood multiple drive-overs.  It’s just a cheap rubber J.Crew case, by the way.

And it still.  Works.

I can’t belive it myself.
